Silo size and silo height

The size of the silo depends on the building-heat load.

There should be a gap of approx. 10-15 cm between the silo and the wall in order to permit ventilation behind it. In case of interior filling is a gap of 50 cm to the wall on the side of filling pipe required. The silo height naturally depends on the height of the room. The distance between the steel supports and the ceiling should be 20 to 25 cm, because the filling pipe will take up this space.

Filling

Filling is from the side. The silos possess impact protection, thereby achieving a better degree of filling than would be case with central filling.

Removal

Removal is carried out according to requirements either via a screw conveyor, a curved conveyor, a trough conveyor, a suction system or manually.

Sub surface

A stable sub surface is a prerequisite for the erection location.

Assembly

Assembly is very simple: Two workers require approx. two hours until the A.B.S. wood pellet silo is ready for use.

Pellet quality

A.B.S. wood pellet silos are exclusively constructed for the storage of wood pellets. Use quality pellets in accordance with DINplus or ÖNORM M 7135 with a diameter of 6 mm. Poor pellet quality can greatly interfere with the functioning of your heating system.
