Upgrate actual silos according to the hygiene ordinanence with lid

In February 2005 the new animal feed hygiene ordinance of the European Union was published. It will be applicable from 01.01.2006. The animal feed hygiene ordinance contains the general provisions governing animal feed hygiene at all stages of the manufacture and use of animal feed. Furthermore, provisions governing good animal feeding practices for livestock will be specified for the first time, with the aim of preventing contamination.

It is therefore necessary to equip existing grain and animal feed storage facilities such that no contamination occurs due, for example, to bird lime and pests.

The A.B.S. company offers you the following types of lid for this purpose:

> Lid for corrugated iron silos made of polyester needle-felt, with two filling nozzles and two additional air-outlet apertures made of a highly air-permeable fabric.

> Lid border 400 mm with cord for fastening

> Fastening loops on the filler connection for attaching the lid by means of rope or chain
